Eben Trio

Eben Trio is one of the top ensembles in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. The members of the ensemble are – Terezie Fialová, piano, Roman Patočka, violin, and Jiří Bárta, cello. The group bears its name from a significant Czech composer Petr Eben, who lived in the second half of the 20th century. The trio performs in the major concert halls such as Auditorium du Louvre in Paris, Munich Gasteig, Laeszhalle Hamburg, Kennedy Centre Washington, National Hall of Performing Arts Beijing, Oriental Arts Center Shanghai or Prague Rudolfinum. The group received the Masefield Prize Hamburg and the Czech Chamber Music Society Award of the Czech Philharmonic. It became an absolute winner of the Concours de musique du Lyceum Club International de Suisse Lausanne. In summer 2013, the trio took part in a prestigious Verbier Festival & Academy and Septembre Musical Vevey in Switzerland, as the very first Czech trio. The ensemble has performed in most European countries, in the United States, in China and Korea. The ensemble frequently plays at the major festival venues.
